Role: Unarmed Security Guard (Observation & reporting)
Minimum Age: 18 Years old
Arming Status: Unarmed
Total Training Hours: 6 Hours (minimum)
Training Focus: Basic security, state laws, ethics, conflict resolution, and report writing.
Prerequisites: Pass background check and complete training.
General Requirements (All Levels): Must be a U.S. Citizen or legal resident, pass a fingerprint-based criminal history, and be employed by a licensed security company.

Level III ( Commissioned Officer)
Role: Armed Security Guard
Minimum Age: 21 years old
Arming Status: Armed (Must carry firearm)
Total Training Hours: 45 Hours (Minimum)
Training Focus: Level II material+Extensive firearm training, legal aspects of using a firearm, and demonstrated firearm proficiency.
Prerequisites: Must complete Level II training course
General Requirements (All Levels): Must be a U.S. Citizen or legal resident, pass a fingerprint-based criminal history, and be employed by a licensed security company.

Level IV (Personal Protection Officer-PPO)
Role: Armed Bodyguard/Executive Protection
Minimum Age: 21 years old
Arming Status: Armed (Must carry firearm)
Total Training Hours: Level II+Level III+15 hours (Specialized PPO Training
Training Focus: All previous material+Specialized training in Personal protection, defensive tactics, threat avoidance, and close-quarters security.
Prerequisites: Must hold a valid Level III Commission and complete specialized PPO training.
General Requirements (All Levels): Must be a U.S. Citizen or legal resident, pass a fingerprint-based criminal history, and be employed by a licensed security company.

Register To Complete The Firearms Course.
Once you complete the classroom portion of the Level III and or Level IV, register for the Firearms Course with one of our recommended instructors positioned all over the state of Texas to complete the Firearms and Defensive Tactics Requirement.
